This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high‑quality care and education, who thrives in a nurturing, child‑centred environment. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. This is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward‑thinking school community.

What we are looking for
  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare
  • Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
  • Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
  • Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Start Date: ASAP; FTE Salary range: GLF Associate 2 £23,651; Pro‑rata (actual) Starting Salary: £18,368; Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm Monday – Friday 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time); Contract: Permanent
