You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. What we are looking for

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare
• Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
• Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
• Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Start Date: ASAP; FTE Salary range: GLF Associate 2 £23,651; Pro‑rata (actual) Starting Salary: £18,368; Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm Monday – Friday 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time); Contract: Permanent
