Job summary

Desian Education are supporting a welcoming primary school in Ellesmere Port seeking a qualified and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 class on a full-time temporary basis.

You will lead 1:1 and small group interventions while supporting all core subjects, with a strong focus on KS1 delivery and positive behaviour strategies. You will work closely with the class teacher and liaise with SLT to support pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum.
• Qualified teaching assistant with classroom experience.
• Ability to implement positive behaviour strategies.

Responsibilities

• Implement an array of positive behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs and responses.

In this long-term position you will be joining the year 2 class and working collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure positive outcomes. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with good knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum that is passionate about making a positive impact on young people.
