Desian Education are supporting a welcoming primary school in Ellesmere Port seeking a qualified and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 class on a full-time temporary basis.

You will lead 1:1 and small group interventions while supporting all core subjects, with a strong focus on KS1 delivery and positive behaviour strategies. You will work closely with the class teacher and liaise with SLT to support pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum.
• Qualified teaching assistant with classroom experience.
• Ability to implement positive behaviour strategies.

Responsabilités

• Leading 1:1 and small group interventions for mixed/lower ability pupils in all core subjects.
• Implement an array of positive behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs and responses.
• Direct liaison with SLT on pupil behavioural requirements and positive responses.
