Job summary

Deverell Smith Ltd is seeking a resident services/lettings specialist to manage viewings, inventories and the onboarding of new residents across a Build-to-Rent and Single-Family Housing portfolio. You will ensure properties are presented to a high standard and support the whole lettings journey from viewing to tenancy completion.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential property lettings or property management.
• Strong IT & administrative skills.
• Good understanding of residential legislation and tenancy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property viewings and convert inquiries into lets.
• Record and manage inventories, check-ins and check-outs, including meter readings.
• Explain lettings processes, financial obligations and tenancy requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance with contractors and keep property records up to date.
• Support resident retention and address issues affecting tenancies.
