Linley & Simpson, part of Lomond, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our landlord portfolio in Yorkshire. You will handle outbound calls, promote our lettings and managed services, and convert opportunities across multiple lead sources.

The role offers a competitive basic salary with on-target earnings and benefits, with flexible hours based out of a Yorkshire location. Previous lettings experience is essential, with a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in lettings and landlord-focused roles is essential.
• Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills beneficial in converting opportunities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment with high activity.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming web leads and book lettings market appraisals.
• Follow up lettings market appraisal appointments to secure instructions or valuations.
• Contact Let Only landlords to promote Fully Managed service.
• Match buy-to-let landlords to opportunities and secure lettings instructions.
• Identify opportunities from applicant registrations and encourage landlords to market with Linley & Simpson.
• Monitor stock activity and contact landlords to win new business.
• Promote and book mortgage appointments where appropriate.
• Upsell rent and legal protection products.
• Arrange Sales Market Appraisals when landlords consider selling.
• Maintain accurate records and meet activity and conversion targets.
• Make a high volume of outbound calls (approx. 100 per day).
