Job summary

High Life Highland is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to provide day-to-day supervision of the leisure staff and to uphold high standards of service and safety across the facility.

You will ensure efficient operation, manage rosters, conduct inductions, and support training, safety, and accessibility for diverse user groups. The role includes administrative duties, coaching, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising leisure staff and delivering high-quality customer service.
• Ability to plan rosters, training and inductions, and manage performance.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day supervision of the leisure staff.
• Ensure performance and presentation standards are maintained.
• Consult with customers and staff on operation of the facility.
• Plan staff rota and arrange cover for absences as required.
• Perform supervisory duties relating to recruitment, induction, training and discipline.
• Monitor cleanliness and carry out cleaning duties when required.
• Provide certified first aid and deliver fitness inductions.
• Ensure booking system and membership scheme are maintained.
• Carry out health and safety checks and report risks to Facilities Manager.
• Maintain records, administer administration and reception duties.
• Support activity programmes and continuous improvement of the facility.
