Responsibilities

• Supervise leisure staff and ensure staffing levels align with policy and procedures.
• Plan and manage staff rotas and arrange cover for absences as required.
• Maintain performance and presentation standards across the facility.
• Coordinate with customers and staff on operations and report issues to the Facilities Manager.
• Uphold customer care standards and ensure facilities and equipment meet user needs.
• Conduct health and safety checks and report risks or defects promptly.
• Provide first aid where trained and deliver fitness inductions as needed.
• Oversee reception duties, bookings, and membership administration.
• Support training, records, and continuous improvement initiatives for the leisure team.
• Maintain security, opening/closing procedures, and out-of-hours responses as required.
