Job summary

High Life Highland is seeking a capable supervisor for our leisure facilities in Inverness. The post involves supervising the leisure team, planning rotas, and ensuring high standards of customer care and safety across all facilities.

You will be responsible for staff recruitment, inductions, training, and performance, while maintaining facility cleanliness and safety. A PVG check is required and flexibility for shift patterns is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising leisure centre staff or similar teams.
• First aid certification and ability to provide inductions.
• Strong understanding of health and safety policies and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day leisure staff operations and ensure staffing levels meet policy.
• Plan staff rotas and arrange cover for absences.
• Conduct recruitment, induction, training, and disciplinary duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities and equipment; perform safety checks.
