Job summary

High Life Highland is seeking an experienced Leisure Centre Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the leisure staff at our Invergordon facility. You will promote a positive, collaborative culture and ensure services meet quality standards and the needs of diverse user groups.

You will supervise staff, plan rotas, conduct inductions and coaching, perform health and safety checks, manage bookings and memberships, and assist with projects to continually improve the facility and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising leisure staff.
• Ability to plan staff rotas and cover.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Customer-focused with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day supervision of the leisure staff.
• Ensure performance and presentation standards are maintained.
• Consult with customers and staff on facility operations and improvements.
• Plan the staff rota in line with the staffing schedule and arrange cover for absences.
• Perform supervisory duties relating to staff recruitment, induction, training and discipline.
• Carry out health and safety checks and report risks to the Facilities Manager.
• Maintain booking system and membership records.
• Assist in promoting activity programmes and coaching as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the leisure centre and HLH as a whole.
