Job summary

High Life Highland is recruiting a supervisor for the leisure team in Wick. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, ensure facilities meet standards, and respond to issues in a timely fashion. The role supports the Charity’s purposes and i-care values in a community leisure setting.

You will coordinate rotas, promote safety, deliver coaching, and assist with activity programs while maintaining excellent customer care and reporting as required by policy.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising leisure staff.
• Ability to plan staff rotas and manage absences.
• Certified first aid training as required by procedures.
• Knowledge of health and safety checks and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive workplace culture to boost morale and performance.
• Provide day to day supervision of the leisure staff and ensure standards.
• Plan staff rotas and arrange cover for absences as required.
• Contribute to health and safety checks and report risks to the Facilities Manager.
• Maintain booking system and membership records to standard.
• Deliver coaching and development for staff and ensure customer care.
• Assist in organising activity programmes and cross-functional work when needed.
