Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT) is hiring a Receptionist at South Charnwood Leisure Centre, Syston, Leicester. You will be the first point of contact, welcoming customers and guiding them to services.

The role includes processing memberships, promoting fitness offerings, and handling cash with accuracy. This part-time position requires excellent communication, IT skills, and a proactive, adaptable approach while supporting the wider team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience delivering strong customer service in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Confident in the use of IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve customer queries effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach.
• A flexible mindset, able to adapt to different situations and support the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service face to face and over the telephone.
• Manage reception duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Process new memberships and manage new member enquiries.
• Promote health and fitness services and swimming lessons, and membership upgrades.
• Handle cash transactions and follow financial procedures accurately.
• Support colleagues across the team when required.
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment in line with policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders to deliver consistent service excellence.
