Job summary

GLL is recruiting a Duty Manager to join Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre in North Manchester. The role includes unlocking, setting up, ordering supplies, and ensuring the gym, pool and other facilities operate smoothly.

Training will be provided to sharpen your skills in this diverse Duty Manager role. As a Duty Manager you will supervise staff on shift, handle customer queries, and manage day-to-day operations to maintain excellent service for members and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Unlocking the centre and setting up for the day.
• Assist customers with use of facilities and activities, encouraging maximum use of the Centre.
• Supervise staff on shift and allocate work effectively.
• Ensure security, cleanliness, customer supervision and equipment checks are maintained.
• Ensure pool safety and operating procedures are followed.
• Support energy conservation and resource maximisation through good housekeeping.
• Develop and implement improvement plans in collaboration with management.
