Job summary

Places Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee the safe, efficient day-to-day operation of the leisure centre. You will lead shifts, maintain staffing levels and ensure top customer service and site presentation.

You will work with teams across the centre and act as a representative of senior management when required. You'll ensure health and safety compliance, respond to concerns, manage incidents and support recruitment, development and day-to-day management of frontline staff, while

Qualifications

• Holds a valid NPLQ or First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification.
• Experience supervising or coordinating teams in leisure, hospitality, retail or customer-facing environments.
• Experience in health and safety, incident response or operational compliance.
• Experience handling customer enquiries, complaints or service issues in fast-paced settings.
