Job summary

Places Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager to lead a large team at our leisure centre. You will oversee staff, recruit, train, handle customer concerns and drive memberships to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and public holidays. It is essential to hold an NPLQ qualification; safeguarding responsibilities are a core part of the role with a commitment to safe communities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in a leisure facility.
• First aid experience is advantageous as you will be a registered first aider.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day centre operations and staff.
• Recruit, train and develop team members.
• Handle customer concerns and drive memberships.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings.
• Represent Places Leisure and maintain safeguarding.
