Job summary

Horizon Leisure Centres in Guildford is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure a first-class customer experience. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the operations teams and maintain high standards across the facility.

You should have 2+ years of management experience in leisure, and be capable of coordinating activities, training staff, and responding to issues quickly.

Qualifications

• ,
• 2+ years’ experience as a manager or team leader, preferably in a leisure environment.
• Emergency Response Training – desirable
• First Aid at Work – desirable
• Pool Plant Operator – desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Operations Teams to deliver a first-class customer experience.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and setup of facilities and equipment.
• Induct and train new starters and develop existing team members.
• Conduct performance management including 1-2-1s, absence, conduct, performance and development.
• Implement opportunities for improvement under direction from the General Manager.
• Be prepared to travel to other company sites as required.
