Job summary

AWD online is seeking a Leisure Centre Duty Manager to lead day-to-day leisure operations across two community facilities. You will oversee wet-side and dry-side services, deliver excellent customer service and support a positive experience for members.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and attention to detail, with shift work and a focus on maintaining high standards. Benefits include public sector pension, staff leisure membership rates and free on-site parking.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Take the operational lead across the leisure and sports centre facilities and help ensure services run smoothly
• Customer Service: Deliver excellent service to members of the public and support a welcoming customer experience
• Team Leadership: Provide confident day-to-day leadership and support colleagues in delivering a high standard of service
• Facility Standards: Maintain a keen eye for detail across a varied mix of wet-side and dry-side leisure facilities
• Service Development: Support the continued development and growth of the leisure centre offer
• Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and facility users
