Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Remedial Plumber

A professional and industry leading provider of Legionella Management services in the South East is now seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor / Remedial Plumber. This role suits someone with experience carrying out both Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold-water systems and Remedial Plumbing across Leisure, Healthcare, Food and Beverage, and Health & Social Care sites. Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working for an established Legionella Management company as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Remedial Plumber.
• Hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella risk assessment and City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to produce detailed reports from site findings and create/amend schematic drawings.
• Excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Ability to organise workload in line with company and client needs.

The Role

• Work on both hot and cold-water systems to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with client requirements.
• Gather information from site to produce detailed legionella reports.
• Create legionella management plans to prevent the risk of legionnaires disease and ensure clients are aware of necessary measures.
• Create site-specific schematic drawings and amend them when required.
• Undertake deadleg removals.
• Remove, replace, and resupply copper and PVC pipework.
• Refurbish and install CWST.
• Carry out inspections of plumbing work and sign off when completed.
• Undertake fault-finding on site, ensuring timely rectification.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
