Legal Counsel - Commercial & Operations

We are the Advocate Group, proud to represent a global FMCG business seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their EMEA legal team. Roles & Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements, including distribution, manufacturing, logistics, services, software licenses, leases, and procurement contracts across the UK and EMEA.
• Provide practical legal advice to support business strategy and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage legal risks effectively.
• Support and mentor junior legal team members.
• Maintain contract templates and ensure best practice in contract management.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified solicitor with strong commercial contract experience.
• Experience in FMCG or wider manufacturing sectors.
• Experience in handling commercial contracts for operations, supply chain/logistics, or procurement.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to non‑legal colleagues.
