Job summary

Kenlinks Recruitment seeks an experienced Legal Claims Handler for a vibrant Blackburn law firm. You will handle the receipt of initial instructions, create matters, and perform checks to support risk assessment.

Key duties include logging client documentation, DSAR reviews, and acting as the first port of contact. You will also arrange appointments and prepare Letters of Claim and Calderbanks as part of early-stage client matters.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Proclaim system and case management workflows.
• Qualified lawyer or law graduate with relevant training.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive initial instructions and create initial matter with checks.
• Log client signed forms, completed questionnaires in the case management system.
• Request and log required documentation from the client.
• Perform DSAR reviews and be client-facing as first point of contact.
• Book and arrange client appointments and prepare letters of claim.
• Prepare Part 36/Calderbank packages for clients and defendants.
• Handle all calls and correspondence with clients and third parties.
