Davies in Liverpool is seeking a Claim Handler CH2 to join our Legal department on a permanent full-time, hybrid basis. The role focuses on managing a caseload of pre-litigated and lower-value litigated motor claims for corporate clients.

Key duties include handling claims up to £25k (pre-litigated) and up to £10k (litigated), identifying early-litigation opportunities, mentoring colleagues, and maintaining accurate data and documentation.

Qualifications

• ULR RTA handling experience of pre-litigated matters is essential; litigation knowledge desirable.
• Full claim cycle experience from initial quantum assessment, liability investigation and settlement negotiation.
• Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Negotiation and communication skills; organisational abilities.
• Ability to mentor and support new starters.

Responsabilités

• To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance.

The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated and Low Value Litigated Motor Claims for our Corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

• To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims up to £25k, including high value/complex matters from inception to settlement.
• To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of litigated motor claims up to £10k..

Working Hours

35 hours per week

Monday – Friday 9am – 5.00pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.

Primary location for this role is Liverpool. This role is a hybrid role working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
