Job summary

Keoghs in Liverpool is seeking a Claims Handler - CH2 to join the Casualty Team. The role manages Public/Employers Liability, product liability and property damage claims from inception to settlement, with a 35-hour week and hybrid working 1 day in the office and 4 from home.

The candidate should have 12 months of relevant experience (or 6 months with a law degree or equivalent), MOJ Claims Portal experience, and strong attention to detail, communication, negotiation and organisational skills in

Job description

Is it time to open new doors in your legal journey? If so we are seeking a Claims Handler - CH2 to join our Casualty Team. The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of Public / Employers Liability claims up to a reserve value of £20,000. This includes personal injury, product liability and property damage. The handler will manage the claim from inception to settlement pre litigation.

Key Accountabilities

• To pro-actively manage a caseload of Public Liability, Employers Liability, Property Damage & Product Liability claims
• Maintain accurate data on relevant case management system
• Comply with set client SLA’s
• Ensure quality service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard
• Undertake appropriate additional tasks provided by the Team Leader

Working Hours

35 hours per week

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch

This is a hybrid role working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
