Overview

Based across our accessible campuses, including Rush Green, Barking & Dagenham College prepares young people and adults with the essential skills they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further study. Our Maths and English provision plays a critical role in that journey., As a Maths Lecturer, you'll deliver engaging, inclusive teaching that supports learners to achieve and progress. You'll contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement, ensuring provision remains responsive to learner and employer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons, including schemes of work
  • Using effective, learner-centred assessment methods with constructive feedback
  • Tracking and supporting learner attendance, progress and achievement
  • Providing coaching and pastoral support to designated learners
  • Maintaining safe learning environments and promoting positive behaviours
  • Keeping up to date with developments in Maths education and assessment
  • Participating in CPD and quality improvement activities

Qualifications
