Job summary

Mendip Green Primary School in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Learning Support Assistant. The role covers mainstream and specialist bases, with 30 hours per week during term time and an 11-month fixed-term contract.

You will provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs, deliver interventions, and work with teachers and SEN professionals to foster inclusive learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Active, patient and adaptable approach to supporting primary pupils.
• Ability to build trust with learners with diverse needs.
• Willingness to undertake training and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and small group support.
• Support teaching and learning within specialist resource hubs.
