Job summary

Worle Village Primary School is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil funded through top-up arrangements. The role is 20+ hours per week, with days and hours to be discussed, and will end if funding ceases or pupil leaves.

You will have SEN experience, GCSEs including English and maths, and a Level 2 certificate in supporting teaching and learning. Team Teach training is expected to be completed as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in an educational setting, ideally with SEN needs.
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to use own initiative.
• GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and maths; Level 2 TA/learning support qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist learning activities and support pupils with SEN.
• Work with teachers to implement inclusive classroom strategies.
• Be self-motivated, proactive and able to respond to pupil needs.
• Be willing to undertake Team Teach training as required.
