The role involves supporting pupils aged 11-19 with Autism and related needs, in a rural setting with a driving-affected commute. GCSEs in Maths and English are required, and previous SEN experience is beneficial. Hours are term-time, with a salary of £14.24 per hour.
Learning Support Assistant – SEN School, Andover. September start. Academics are recruiting on behalf of a residential SEN school in Andover which caters for young people aged 11-19 years with Autism or who have strong emotional/behavioural traits of the Autistic Spectrum, typically high functioning Autism (Asperger Syndrome) and other associated needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and social, emotional and mental health needs. All young people in the school will have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
They are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join them on a full-time, possible temp to perm supply contract starting in September. Due to the rural location in Grately/Andover, this would be suited to a Learning Support Assistant who drives/has access to own car.
