Job summary

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a residential SEN school in Andover for a Learning Support Assistant. The role is full-time, starting in September, with a possible temp-to-perm supply contract. Driving access is preferred due to rural Grately/Andover location.

Support pupils aged 11-19 with autism or related needs, both in small groups and 1:1, using individualised learning and care plans. GCSE Maths and English at Grade C+ required.

Qualifications

• Must have Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
• Experience supporting pupils in SEN settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the school in small groups and 1:1.
• Assist the teacher in meeting individual learning and care plans.
• Contribute to an Asperger-friendly, differentiated curriculum.
