Working hours are 8.45am to 3pm, term-time, with induction and training in Special Needs and Safeguarding. The successful candidate will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups across KS3/KS4, tailoring lessons to individual needs.

They are looking to appoint an experienced and engaging Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent contract, starting in September. The starting salary is 17,915 (actual), 25,186 (FTE) - Grade C, step 1.

Due to the needs of the pupils, this is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant with previous SEN experience, or a willingness to work with children with special educational needs. You must have recent experience of supporting children in a school or care setting.
As a successful Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis across KS3 and KS4. The class sizes are small so lessons are tailored to meet their individual learning needs. Due to their needs, they are taught a primary module.
You will access a full induction programme along with training in a wide range of areas including Special Needs and Safeguarding.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
