Job summary

Walton High is hiring a Learning Support Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs under the SENCo. You will spend time with students in lessons and deliver 1-1 interventions to aid wellbeing and education.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week during term-time plus training days (39 weeks per year). Working pattern is Mon-Thu 8:00–16:00, Fri 8:00–15:30 with a half-hour unpaid break.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEN preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse learners in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Support students with Special Educational Needs under the supervision of the SENCo.
• Provide 1-1 intervention and in-class support during lessons.

Salary: Grade 4 £25,988 - £27,254 p.a pro rata, £22,561 - £23,651 p.a actual

Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4:00pm Friday 08:00 -3:30pm with a half hour unpaid break

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant who will work under the direct supervision of the SENCo to support students with Special Educational Needs. Your role will include being with students in lessons and delivering intervention on a 1-1 basis.
