Job summary

The Brooksbank School is offering a fixed-term post ending 31 August 2027 for an enthusiastic SEND support role. The position is term-time only plus 2 days, 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary is Band C (NJC points 4-6) £15,938–£16,447, with potential pay award pending.

We seek someone with strong communication, patience and teamwork to provide dedicated 1:1 support for students with additional needs and assist in learning activities. Closing date is 4 September 2026 at 9.00am.

Salary: Band C (NJCpoints 4-6) Actual Salary: £15,938 - £16,447**pending pay award.

What the role involves in a nutshell:
  • To provide dedicated1:1 support for a child / children diagnosed with additional needs who requireindividual support to support access to learning, as well as being able tonurture the child’s social and emotional needs.
  • Responsiblefor some learning activities within the overall teaching plan to enable accessto learning.

In addition to the above,we're looking for someone who is self-driven and wants to deliver the bestservice. It's important that you can demonstrate a solution’s focused attitude,maintaining a positive outlook and work well in a team.
