Job summary

Supply Desk is partnering with a welcoming primary school in West Drayton to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This full-time role offers long-term stability and the chance to make a real difference in pupils’ learning and development.

You will work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping to create an inclusive, positive environment for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (school-based desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning in the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and resource preparation.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEN).
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and engagement in learning.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report pupil progress to the class teacher.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and external professionals.

• Supporting pupils’ learning in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation of resources
• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEN)

• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
