Supply Desk is recruiting an EYFS Learning Support Assistant to work in a HP11 primary school setting. This full-time role starts ASAP/september and offers a long-term opportunity within a nurturing school environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils learning in the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups.

  • Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report pupil progress to the class teacher.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff and external professionals.

EYFS Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time)

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the HP11 area to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing school environment and make a real difference in supporting pupils learning and development.

This role would suit a patient, caring, and proactive individual who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and thrive in the classroom.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils learning, both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will play a key role in helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils learning in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation of resources
  • Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs (SEN)
  • Encouraging pupils confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
  • Supporting pupils social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress to the class teacher
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and external professionals
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)

Desirable:
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN

  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
