Entry Level Learning Support Assistant

Location Sunderland

Salary £385 - £525 per week.

Are you ready to work alongside qualified teachers to help with educational growth within local schools in the Sunderland area? Experience is not necessary, just the drive to make a difference within the heart of our community.

Protocol Education is seeking to hire individuals who are looking to start fruitful careers in the blossoming education sector.

As a learning support assistant your role is:

• Working collaboratively with school faculty to ensure educational plans are carried out to an industry standard.
• Aiding students in accessing and understanding the curriculum and participating in activities set by teaching staff.
• Monitoring behaviour and welfare of pupils throughout each day.
• Helping to ensure all students have access to equal opportunities.
• To be vigilant in safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will be looking to grow as an educator while simultaneously driving to grow the horizons of those around them. Ideally you have a skillset suited to the teaching environment, showcasing great communication skills, patience, positivity and a passion to inspire change.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
