Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support children with additional needs in a specialist SEN setting in Bristol BS16.

The role involves 1:1 and small group support, helping with activities and personal development, and fostering confidence and social skills. You will work closely with teachers to ensure inclusive learning experiences.

Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching assistant or learning support roles preferred.
  • DBS check/safeguarding training is advantageous or required.

Responsibilities

The Role
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assisting students with learning activities and personal development.
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social interactions.
  • Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, communication needs, and other additional learning needs.
  • Working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide the best possible support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
