Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is recruiting an SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a welcoming school in New Malden, South West London.

You will support pupils with SEN on a one-to-one and small-group basis, working with teachers and specialists to deliver accessible learning and promote positive development. The ideal candidate will have SEN experience, be patient and adaptable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with children or young people with SEN.
  • Patient, compassionate and adaptable.

Responsibilities

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the New Malden area. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs.

The Role

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Help implement individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to ensure pupils receive the support they need.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
