Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a Learning Implementation & Reporting PMO specialist to drive delivery excellence across a diverse portfolio of learning initiatives in Reading. The role combines hands-on project management with portfolio oversight, governance, and continuous improvement to embed consistent standards and deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and embedding project management standards and governance.
• Ability to maintain RAID logs, progress reports and delivery controls.
• Proficient in using portfolio tools to manage plans, dashboards and reporting (Smartsheet or equivalent).
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills with practical solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive accountability for actions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and embed consistent PMO standards, governance and reporting across the Programmes team.
• Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, guidance and SOPs.
• Coach colleagues in applying project management best practices and build capability.
• Lead priority projects and strategic initiatives from inception through to BAU adoption.
• Translate business requirements into clear plans, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, resources and budgets to ensure delivery.
• Drive stakeholder engagement with internal teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase delivery efficiency through tech and automation.
• Use data and lessons learned to evaluate outcomes and demonstrate benefits.
• Collaborate with Learning, Technology, Quality and Risk to deliver sustainable change.
