Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a proactive PMO professional to lead end-to-end learning projects within the LI&R programmes team. You will establish governance, manage plans, RAID logs and budgets, and collaborate with course managers and senior stakeholders to drive delivery excellence.

This hybrid role offers the chance to shape outcomes across design, planning, implementation and evaluation, using Smartsheet and other tools, with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable learner impact.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end projects and multiple workstreams with delivery outcomes in complex environments.
• Strong PMO, project planning and governance capability, including RAID logs, progress reporting and delivery controls.
• Experience using Smartsheet or comparable portfolio and project management tools to manage plans, dashboards and reporting.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify issues early and coordinate practical solutions.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and drive accountability for actions and deadlines.
• Experience leading continuous improvement, process change or technology adoption and embedding changes into BAU operations.
• Experience creating, implementing and maintaining SOPs, process documentation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Establish and embed consistent project management standards, governance frameworks and reporting across the Programmes team.
• Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, guidance and SOPs to support effective delivery.
• Coach and support colleagues in applying project management best practices and build team capability.
• Lead priority projects and strategic initiatives from inception through to implementation and BAU adoption.
• Translate business requirements into clear project plans, deliverables, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, resources and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and accountability with internal teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, governance and introduce automation.
• Use data, feedback and lessons learned to evaluate outcomes and demonstrate benefits.
