Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a PMO/Portfolio Manager to drive delivery excellence across a diverse, multi-project programme. You will establish governance standards, develop templates and tools, and coach teams to apply best practices from inception through to business-as-usual adoption.

You will translate business priorities into clear plans, manage risks and budgets, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes. A hybrid working model and flexible benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing project management standards and governance.
• Ability to translate business priorities into structured plans and measurable outcomes.
• Proven track record leading multi-workstream projects in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and embed consistent project management standards, governance frameworks and reporting across the Programmes team.
• Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, guidance and SOPs to support effective delivery.
• Coach colleagues in applying PM best practices and build delivery capability across the team.
• Lead priority projects and strategic initiatives from inception through to BAU adoption.
• Translate business requirements into clear project plans, deliverables and milestones.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, resources and budgets to ensure delivery.
• Drive stakeholder engagement with internal teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, governance and delivery efficiency through technology.
