Job summary

Novus, LTE Group's prison education provider, is seeking a Learning Needs Support Practitioner to help learners overcome barriers and reach their potential in a supportive education environment.

You will identify individual support needs, develop practical strategies, and provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support, collaborating with tutors and wider teams to promote inclusive learning and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Level 2 qualification in Hidden Difficulties or equivalent or be willing to work towards within an agreed timescale.
• Track record of working effectively with learners presenting with challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Identify individual support needs and develop practical strategies.
• Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support.
• Collaborate with tutors and support teams to promote inclusive learning.
