Job summary

Delta Housing in Chelmsford is recruiting a Learning and Development Trainer to design, deliver and evaluate training that builds colleague competence and complies with the Competence and Conduct Standard.

You will work with managers and subject matter experts to identify learning needs, developing high-quality programmes across safeguarding, health and safety, customer service and management development, and reporting on impact.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training that supports professional competence and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to develop training materials, resources and programmes for diverse audiences.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality learning programmes that support organisational priorities, regulatory requirements and workforce capability needs.
• Lead the development and delivery of training programmes that support the Competence and Conduct Standard, ensuring colleagues have the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for their roles.
• Work closely with managers and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate these into effective training solutions.
• Develop expertise in key organisational learning programmes, including safeguarding, health and safety, customer service, management development and other priority topics.
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of learning interventions, learner engagement and compliance levels, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
