About The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Learning & Development Trainer to join our L&D function. This is a role for a confident facilitator with proven experience delivering powerful, engaging training that leaves a measurable impact. If you thrive in the training room, command attention with your presence, and pride yourself on delivering polished, compliant and business-ready learning experiences, this role is for you.

As our L&D Trainer, you will play a critical part in accelerating competence, elevating sales capability, and supporting operational excellence across a regulated environment. Your delivery will directly influence performance, customer outcomes, and organisational success.

What you will deliver
  • Facilitate onboarding, induction, product, system, sales, and compliance training with confidence and authority.
  • Tailor your approach to meet learner needs, capability gaps, and business priorities.
  • Support leadership development sessions for new and existing managers.
  • Deliver training aligned with FCA requirements, ensuring consistent, compliant knowledge transfer.
  • Own and deliver our Induction Day, ensuring every new starter experiences a high-quality, professional welcome.
  • Maintain immaculate training environments—materials, resources, and governance documentation.
  • Keep flawless records of attendance, assessments, and learning evidence to uphold audit readiness.
  • Deliver sessions that support sales skill development and performance improvement, including targeted interventions and PIP-support when needed.
  • Run knowledge sessions, refreshers, and drop-ins that keep capability sharp and up to date.
  • Work closely with Management, Coaches, QA, Sales Leaders, Compliance, Operations and L&D colleagues to ensure training reflects operational need and drives meaningful outcomes.
  • Provide insight on learner performance, trends, and opportunities for programme enhancement.

  • Proven experience delivering engaging, structured, and high-quality training in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with natural authority and learner rapport.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and governance discipline.
  • Ability to adjust your style, challenge constructively, and support learners across all capability levels.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally and representing L&D with credibility.
  • Experience in a sales, operational, or regulated environment would be advantageous.
