Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to own the organisation's L&D across the business.

You will work closely with managers to identify development needs, address skills gaps, and design practical learning plans that deliver real value for individuals and the wider company. You’ll build strong relationships with managers and training providers, coordinate both internal and external training, and ensure trainees progress with the right support.

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development or people development.
• Ability to own L&D across the organisation.
• Able to translate business needs into practical learning activities.
• Confident working with managers at different levels of the organisation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Learning & Development activity across the organisation.
• Work with managers and stakeholders to understand development needs across teams.
• Identify skills gaps and implement practical development plans.
• Support managers with conversations around development and progression.
• Coordinate and oversee internal and external training activities.
• Ensure learning initiatives are relevant and deliver value.
• Build relationships with managers across the business.
• Manage relationships with external training providers.
• Track trainees' progress, milestones and completion requirements.
• Ensure trainees receive necessary support and workplace exposure.
