Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead onboarding, training, and employee development across the business. You will collaborate with HR, Operations, and Quality to design impactful training programmes and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

This role offers broad exposure across the organisation, where you’ll work with stakeholders at all levels to deliver development initiatives, PDPs, and employee engagement activities that support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development, Training, HR, or People Development.
• Experience in fresh produce or FMCG environments.
• Ability to develop and deliver structured training programmes.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience managing training systems and PDPs.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Passion for employee development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of onboarding processes and ensure new starters are effectively integrated.
• Review, develop, and improve training plans across departments.
• Manage learning platforms, training records, and development programmes.
• Design and implement structured training initiatives to support business objectives.
• Support managers and employees through coaching, mentoring, and development activities.
• Manage employee assessments and identifying development opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Quality to support people initiatives.
• Coordinate training-related events and employee engagement activities.
• Identify skills gaps and implement development solutions.
• Monitor training effectiveness and implement improvements.
