Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead onboarding, training and development across the organisation. You will partner with HR, Operations and Quality to design and deliver effective programmes that upskill staff and drive engagement.

The role offers broad exposure across the business, with the opportunity to influence learning culture and continuous improvement, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Learning & Development, Training, HR, or People Development role.
• Experience working within fresh produce, food manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, warehousing, or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience developing and delivering structured training programmes.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience managing training systems, learning platforms, and employee development programmes.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
• The ability to identify development needs and implement effective training solutions.
• Experience managing assessments and Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
• A proactive, self-sufficient approach with the ability to work independently.
• A genuine passion for employee development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of onboarding processes and ensure new starters are effectively integrated into the business.
• Review, develop and improve training plans across multiple departments.
• Manage learning platforms, training records and development programmes.
• Design and implement structured training initiatives to support business objectives.
• Support managers and employees through coaching, mentoring and development activities.
• Manage employee assessments and Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
• Develop and maintain PDPs across the organisation.
• Work closely with HR, Operations and Quality to support wider people initiatives.
