Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the organisation's L&D strategy and annual learning plans.
• Identify training needs and recommend effective learning solutions.
• Manage early careers, apprenticeships, induction and progression programmes.
• Design and deliver workshops on leadership, management and workplace skills.
• Coordinate mandatory, compliance and regulatory training.
• Manage the learning calendar, bookings, records, suppliers and budgets.
• Monitor participation, feedback and outcomes to measure learning effectiveness.
• Collaborate with managers and senior stakeholders to support development.
• Contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Learning & Development Manager to join a busy HR team. You ll take ownership of learning and development across the organisation, from identifying training needs and designing programmes through to delivery, evaluation and administration.

Working with managers and senior stakeholders, you ll help develop learning plans that support employee development, early careers, leadership and wider business objectives.

To be considered for the role, you ll require the following essentials:

Within this position, you ll also be:

Salary and Hours

• Monday to Friday, office hours hybrid working


• £50 - £55k DOE


• Regular travel to nationwide offices and external careers or learning events will be required, including


• Some flexibility may occasionally be required for induction, learning events or careers activities outside normal working hours.
