Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering the organisation's L&D strategy and annual learning plans.
  • Identifying training needs and recommending effective learning solutions.
  • Managing early careers, apprenticeships, induction and progression programmes.
  • Designing and delivering workshops covering leadership, management, professional and workplace skills.
  • Coordinating mandatory, compliance and regulatory training.
  • Monitoring participation, feedback and outcomes to measure the effectiveness of learning.
  • Working closely with managers and senior stakeholders to support employee development.
  • Contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Learning & Development Manager to join a busy HR team. You ll take ownership of learning and development across the organisation, from identifying training needs and designing programmes through to delivery, evaluation and administration.


Working with managers and senior stakeholders, you ll help develop learning plans that support employee development, early careers, leadership and wider business objectives.


To be considered for the role, you ll require the following essentials:


  • Design and deliver engaging learning programmes and workshops.

  • Use learning systems, digital tools and Microsoft 365 confidently.

Within this position, you ll also be:

  • Monitoring participation, feedback and outcomes to measure the effectiveness of learning.

  • Working closely with managers and senior stakeholders to support employee development.

  • Contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives.


Salary and Hours


  • Monday to Friday, office hours hybrid working

  • £50 - £55k DOE

  • Regular travel to nationwide offices and external careers or learning events will be required, including

  • Some flexibility may occasionally be required for induction, learning events or careers activities outside normal working hours.
