Job summary

NHS Orkney is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to join the Organisational Learning and Development team. You will support colleagues and trainers with TURAS Learn, coordinate inductions, and handle a range of admin tasks while maintaining data integrity.

You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff, communicating clearly and adapting to changing priorities. A detail‑oriented, system‑savvy candidate is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience using a Learning Management System (LURAS Learn).
• Ability to plan inductions and create training itineraries.
• Strong administrative and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues and trainers to use TURAS Learn, finding resources and resolving queries.
• Coordinate and schedule induction training, create itineraries and welcome staff during induction.
• Undertake admin duties including ordering, invoicing, rostering and monitoring inboxes.
• Extract, collate and distribute TURAS Learn reports.
• Act as first point of contact for enquiries and direct staff to support.
