Job summary

Mirus Aircraft Seating is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead the day-to-day production team, drive lean daily management and ensure high quality outputs. You will coach staff, manage performance, and collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet production targets.

You will own the skills matrix, deliver training plans and foster a right-first-time culture while maintaining safety and efficiency across the production area.

Qualifications

• Engineering biased HNC / HND or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience in supervising or leading a demanding serial production manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable experience of leading, coaching and developing people within a production or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Production team on a day-to-day basis, providing clear direction and support.
• Own and maintain the department's skills matrix and training plans.
• Drive Lean daily management, 5S, and visual factory standards to improve quality, safety and productivity.
• Set expectations on performance, attendance, quality and productivity and conduct regular development conversations.
