Mirus Aircraft Seating Ltd in Hingham, Norfolk, is recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality systems and continuous improvement across aerospace manufacturing. You will lead QMS development, audit programs, and non-conformance investigations while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires extensive experience with ISO and aerospace standards, lean methods and FAI knowledge, with travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Degree level or higher, desirable in business and/or technical disciplines.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Extensive experience of ISO9001, AS9102, AS9100, ISO17025, CAA Part 21G & J.
• FAI knowledge and understanding.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience using Lean / Quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA) in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CI techniques and process mapping.

Aufgaben

• Act as deputy for the Quality & Compliance Manager when needed; support QMS development and maintenance.
• Establish and oversee quality manuals, procedures, and processes for aerospace standards.
• Lead documentation such as PFMEAs, flowcharts, first article inspections, and work instructions.
• Oversee internal audit and surveillance programs and address weaknesses.
• Monitor QMS effectiveness and update procedures with functional owners.
• Investigate non-conformances and manage root cause corrective actions.
• Manage customer quality concerns and surveillance audits.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive corrective or improvement actions.
