Job summary

Mirus Aircraft Seating Ltd in Hingham, Norfolk, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own the factory's performance across Production, Warehouse and Manufacturing Engineering. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive lean methods, improve capability, and scale operations for high-volume aerospace interiors manufacturing.

You will shape the operational organisation, implement continuous improvement, manage budgets and resources, and work with senior leadership to deliver safety,

Qualifications

• Senior production/operations leadership in serial production.
• Experience across Production, Warehouse/Logistics and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proven Lean manufacturing experience.
• Aerospace or regulated manufacturing background.
• Strong budgeting and resource management.
• ERP/MRP knowledge.
• NPI/NPD experience.

Responsibilities

• Own overall operational performance of the facility, ensuring safety and on-time delivery.
• Lead Production, Warehouse and Manufacturing Engineering with clear KPIs.
• Develop ops strategy to scale to high-volume manufacturing.
• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement across the operation.
• Support leads with team development and succession planning.
• Ensure readiness for product introductions and changes.
• Maintain quality, safety, compliance and right‑first‑time culture.
• Manage budgets, resources and investments with reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership to enable sustainable growth.
