Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller at our Kidderminster site. You will lead a busy workshop, coordinating technicians, prioritising tasks and ensuring vehicles leave to the highest standards.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will be the key decision-maker on warranty coverage and recharge opportunities, applying your strong technical expertise and commercial sense to maximise

Qualifications

Qualified technician background with strong workshop experience and excellent technical knowledge from routine servicing through to advanced diagnostics.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate, develop and support a high-performing team.
Outstanding customer service skills with the confidence to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead from the front, coordinating technicians and managing priorities to ensure vehicles leave the workshop to high standards.
Drive workshop performance by maximizing productivity, efficiency and profitability while supporting the team.
Make key warranty and recharge decisions, using technical and commercial awareness to drive success.
